Mindfulness Instruction
There is extensive research on the importance of children developing their skills to focus
on work, display self-regulation, and acquire calming techniques. A proven method to
address these qualities is mindfulness training. Geneva is fortunate to have the opportunity
to provide weekly age-appropriate mindful exercises in classes, beginning with just a few
minutes and gradually increasing over time.
Teachers also incorporate mindful strategies into their classes for groups or individuals as needed. This special program is offered to all Full-Day 3s, Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten, Half-Day Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten Classes.
