Getting Ready for Preschool

This class is thoughtfully designed for children ages 18–24 months, and their caregivers -

parents, nannies, and grandparents are all welcome!  At Geneva Day School, we provide

a warm, nurturing first school experience where young children feel safe, supported, and

excited to explore.

Through thematic, age-appropriate activities such as art, stories, fingerplays, songs, and sensory play, children begin to develop early social skills, language, and confidence. Gentle exposure to classroom routines helps ease the transition into a school setting while fostering independence and a love of learning.

Caregivers are an essential part of this experience and will gain meaningful strategies, ideas, and tools to support their child’s growth at home—strengthening the connection between school and family every step of the way.

Care provides additional care Before School 8 - 9 am or After School 2:45 - 5 pm.

Supervised by experienced and trained staff, children enjoy inside seasonal activities, crafts, and

games, as well as playtime.

Advance registration with the Office and additional fees apply.
