Enrichment
A variety of after-school classes are offered each semester to enrich the learning of
students aged 3 through 5 years at 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Sessions are 45 minutes long
and allow both morning and afternoon students the opportunity to participate. Classes may
range from science, drama, and piano to languages such as Chinese or Spanish, as well as
various sports, including gymnastics, soccer, and tennis. Parents register their children with the
office in advance and pay additional fees.
Fours Enrichment
This special enrichment Program is designed for 4s who attend our Pre-Kindergarten half-day
program and who will be enrolling in kindergarten the following school year. The Program builds
on and provides extra practice in reading, writing, and math skills that are already being taught
in classrooms. The Program employs the Whole Language Approach, utilizing early reading
books, literacy/math centers, and math manipulatives. Games, art, songs, and weekly cooking
projects are also incorporated into the program.
